The PlanetStop™ technology and network are developed by Silicon Valley Systems Group, Inc., a software firm that specializes in developing innovative technology solutions for ubiquitous connectivity and convenient access to information.

The founders, John Russo and Greg Olson, share a passion for bringing technology innovation into easy-to-access, pervasive and ubiquitous networks that enhance and integrate local communities.

These networks provide access to most popular web services, such as e-mail, news, movies and movie tickets, as well as geo-location enhanced information about the physical surroundings—near-by points of interest, near-by businesses, local attractions, community current events etc.

Access to the network is delivered through points of presence (POP) equipped with enhanced geo-location information. Each access point also delivers location maps, walking directions,  news headlines, community events etc.
